USANA Associate Trying To Sign You Up As A Distributor? Then You Need To Know What a Pyramid Scheme Is!

Anyone who has been approached by a USANA distributor trying to sign you up in a business opportunity needs to understand what they're about to get themselves into. The following video is probably the best video explaining what a pyramid scheme is. I believe USANA is a pyramid scheme where 99% of distributors lose money while funding the pyramid scheme that enriches less than 1% of distributors.

If you are a family member, friend, co-worker, or neighbor of someone you know who has been conned into one of these scams, I recommend sending them this video.

    1. So Usana is PAYING (Sponsorship) to be a "Trusted Partner" of a television show known for hocking false medical mumbo jumbo and you see that as a sign they're on the up and up?

Cool video..tastes like coffee..so bitter..hehe well..try to remove all MLM companies.....dont you think that normal corporate companies do not use PYRAMID STRUCTURE?..from the COO, CEO down to Managers down to the supervisors down to the employees?..how about this?..EMPLOYEES work for the OWNER!..without having a chance to improve their Income...so who's the scam?......well..let's just say some of the people fail in MLM...but at least theres a HIGH AVERAGE that people can change their lives..than to be employed..working all your life just for the OWNER TO GET RICH!..aside from that....in USANA, teams are well educated..products are very good....if a Person Fails..at least he or she tried something....can stay inside his or her box all his or her life....

If so, then USANA corporate is a pyramid scheme. Obviously you have no clue how a business functions...

You wrote "well..let's just say some of the people fail in MLM...but at least theres a HIGH AVERAGE that people can change their lives..than to be employed..working all your life just for the OWNER TO GET RICH!"

99% of USANA distributors never even make a profit. USANA distributors work just for the top 1% of distributors in the pyramid scheme to get rich.

  4. Watching that video led me to this Bloomberg video where they interview Bill Ackman about Herbalife.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6dUplyzBgE

There was something he said that I think would really help bring down all MLM companies and that is prosecuting top distributors when the company they work for gets shut down. In order to reduce the damage, those distributors can help the government by providing evidence to help bring the company down. (Turn state's evidence)

Unless there is an incentive or a punishment, even if a company like Usana goes down, the ones who made tons of money still get to keep their money with absolutely no consequences.

A bunch of people who loss money coming forward doesn't mean much but to have top distributors testify against the company (whether because they want to do the right thing or because they want to reduce or eliminate their punishment for being involved) will help make huge progress in shutting these scams down.

I do hope that once Herbalife is taken down, other big MLM companies like Usana, Amway, and Nuskin will also collapse as well. Ackman predicts Herbalife will collapse at the latest March of 2016. Let's hope he's right.

    1. hmm.. sure.
      2016 comes.. nothing,
      2017 comes, nothing
      2018 comes, nothing
      2019 comes, nothing
      2020 comes, nothing
      2025 comes, nothing
      2030 comes, nothing
      2040 comes , maybe something
      2050 comes, maybe something

so you're waiting 23 years to 30 years.. how old are you now?
by that time if they do find something, all the distributors already made money while you're sitting there complaining.

If they still cant find something, they will say they will continue to look.

they have been saying that for the past 10 years.

  5. Hahaha you could have at least tried making this website a little more professional, usually people (skeptics) such as yourself have failed at network marketing before? yes, and now playing the victim because the only reason someone will 'fail' at network marketing is because they didn't put any effort in... the only determining X factor of someones failure or success is YOU thats it.

  6. Hahaha

It does not matter whether you say MLM or NWM. If you are trying to cheat people and commit fraud , then ethically you are crook. You are purveyor of false dreams, a liar, a hoaxer, a huckster and a villain . What are YOU?? A Wentz?

Do you know who was put in your upline today?

  7. I find this video pretty funny. It's making assumption that if a pyramid scheme company used these methods, than all companies that used these methods must be a pyramid scheme. I'm pretty sure there have been MANY companies, MLM or not, have cheated and stolen from their customers so does that mean ALL companies cheat and steal from their customers? If one person murdered another person, does that mean ALL people are murderers? I'm pretty sure you'll agree that can't be true so why do you lump all MLM companies together because pyramid scheme LOOKS like MLM?

Wikipedia's definition of a "pyramid scheme" is:
A pyramid scheme is an unsustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public.

I don't see any of the things mentioned in the video in that definition like hiring a high profile spokes person or anything to do with athletes.

The best video I've seen that explains a pyramid scheme is:

  8. Want to know whether you should be buying Usana vitamins from a distributor who is either trying to sign you up for monthly orders or as a a recruit? Get your blood tested to see what deficiencies you may have (from a licensed physician). Bring those results to a your Usana rep and see what they say. Guaranteed many of them won't even know what to look at. That is all you need to know.

I'm not against vitamins or supplements if you need them. I am against companies hiring people to sell them to you without any knowledge of your medical history, or even much medical knowledge at all.

I also find it disconcerting that many people here who are pro-Usana get so defensive at people who are against it and claim that it must be because you failed at network marketing.

  9. You guys are so clueless. Yes that include you watchiedoggie.
The top guys doesn't make money only recruiting memberos so they can be their downlines to recruit more clients. They make money selling the products to china because those people over there demands more usana products....and they can sell it for LESS than the markup price.. due to the loophole in the binary payment structure. I know some get $10000 in commission.. that is after buying $100,000 of products (no kidding) and then sells them in china or for cheap for a lost of say maybe $3000 and yet still come out on top.. (net $7000) right there. Then if they are the top ranks, they also get to get another split of the 3% of the usana profits... this can equate to another $5000 to 20k.. so they net 12k to 27 k.. even after a 3k loss.. Don't you guys understand how the reall game is played here.. and you guys are complaining .. Get a clue.

    1. Sounds plausible, yet violates both USANA's policies and China's laws. Do you have any documents or links that may show this happening?

    2. ex-silver director 2009

This video explains USANA very well. I wish I knew this before I joined long time ago... Even if I did I probably would of still joined because I needed a job back then and it sounded like I can support myself with Usana. That is what the trainers say and it is absolutely wrong. Most Silver, Gold, rubi have to live with their parents or/and have a real job on the side to support them. The video is right about making income mostly on your downlines. Most of my downlines were my friends and it is a shame I profited from close friends that would of probably loaned/gave me that money they spent on usana if I really needed it. I think I mentioned before in the comments that the brainwashing, trust (warm market approach) and constant training will be a lot stronger than just reading things online in your blog watchdog and It will only stop a very small % from joining..... To make associates quit you have to debunk the training mind games..... Watch Nancy On on youtube and see how she words things to distract people from the truth. (truth being this video)

I appreciate your work on here watchdog. I probably couldn't do what you do answering stupid questions from associates.. you're so patient and calm.. do you ever get mad when associates ask you ridiculous questions that make no sense..

    3. I heard from a few people that some are doing it.. why do think the fastest growing ranks are usually chinese. So like you said , if it's illegal and they know.. there will not be a trace for the actual person who does it would it..so why would I have links or something? lol

But for usana it should be fine because ppl are buying their products and made profit.. so why do does the company care what theose people who bought it for do with it. they can either throw it away or resell it or whatever. China just frowns on mlm, but not the product.

    1. The discussion on my blog focuses on "Multi-Level Marketing", which is a type of network marketing.

There are two key players to consider.

      1) The COMPANY
      2) The DISTRIBUTORS

The MLM model works for the COMPANY which has a guaranteed profit as long as they can recruit an endless supply of new distributors into their pyramid scheme.

The MLM model does NOT work for the DISTRIBUTORS because the fix is in. There is a gauranteed loss for 99% of distributors which are all forced to personally purchase product if they want to participate in the compensation plan. The cost to participate far exceeds the commissions paid in return for 99% of members. ONLY about 1% of distributors make any profit, which are the result of having enormous downlines. The profitable commission they receive comes primarily from the 99% of distributors who are unable to make a profit but are paying the reoccurring fees in the form of product purchases.

Robert Kiyosaki promotes these MLM pyramid schemes. I would like him to reveal a single MLM company where more than 1% of those who join the business opportunity actually make a profit.
